Recognizing the increasing demand for high-end automobiles in the South-East Asian market, Ferrari has been constantly making efforts to increase its product line in these countries. Recently, Naza Italia officially introduced the Ferrari Portofino in Malaysia. The car made its local debut eight months after it was first showcased at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. A new Italian grand tourer from Maranello, the Portofino is the latest and greatest GT car from Ferrari. The car takes its namesake from a village on the Italian Riviera, symbolising scenic beauty and elegant daily living. The Ferrari Portofino comes with an open top driving option and it effortlessly converts from a coupe to a convertible through the electronic retractable hard top in a just 14 seconds, while moving at lower speeds. The Portofino is powered by a Ferrari V8 turbo, a member of the same engine family that saw the carmaker win the International Engine of the Year Award in both 2016 and 2017. New interior features further update the Ferrari experience, with infotainment that has a 10.2-inch touchscreen display, a new air-conditioning system, a new steering wheel, 18-way adjustable electric-powered seats and more. The car’s new wind deflectors, promising to cut airflow inside the cabin by 30 percent during open-top driving will be much appreciated by the customers. The Portofino is offered in 28 different colour schemes and retails at RM 948,000 (excluding taxes and duties).

Ferrari Portofino Facelift Car Features
With the installation of a gasoline single filter, the latest generation of Ferrari’s 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 will be brought back and re-versioned under the rounders cap in order to conform to Europe’s strictest emission rules.
The updated Portofino’s power will rise from the current 591 bhp to an estimated 612 bhp, matching that of the Ferrari Roma. In 2023, Ferrari will release additional information about their refreshed Portofino model.

The Ferrari Portofino is an ultra-glam coupe with a self-storing hardtop designed for long-distance driving with a high-speed option. It is built with a mid-engine layout and a 2+2 seating configuration. Its gorgeous exterior is meticulously designed by the Ferrari Styling Center headed by Flavio Manzoni. Launch
The Ferrari Portofino was officially launched at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is named after a picturesque village in Northern Italy. This impressive vehicle was also unveiled at the Ferrari 70th Anniversary done in Maranello, Italy, the company’s official hometown.
Its Asian debut happened by the end of the year where it was formally introduced in China, Japan and Hongkong. In October 2018, official distributor Autostrada Motore Inc. held a festive event to welcome the Ferrari Portofino to our local shore.

Though considered as an entry-level model, the Ferrari Portofino looks anything but ordinary. The Italian premium carmaker effectively merged its athletic physique with graceful curves and dramatic lines.
It’s finely sculpted body that measures 4,586mm long, 1,938mm wide and 1,318mm tall is filled with notable details such as LED headlights, lively colored calipers, quad exhaust outlets, a sloping fastback silhouette, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the vibe is alive and sporty. Highlights include power-adjustable leather seats available in 15 shades, multifunction steering wheel, centrally-mounted rev counter, and wind deflector when the hardtop is down.
To satisfy your personalization needs, Sport Daytona seats are offered as an option. The legendary Italian carmaker also provides a carbon interior that will level up the steering wheel, dashboard, and center console. The rev counter’s background color can also be altered in yellow, white, and red. Even the carpet can be tailored in nine colors with an embroidered logo.
In terms of cargo loading, the Ferrari Portofino allows a maximum of 10.3 cubic feet that is ideal for storing pieces of luggages. Space is slightly lessened when the roof is folded down but still, it is a generous size compared to other mid-engine models.
