Ford Figo 2017 Design

The Ford Figo 2017 does not share anything with the earlier model and is an all new car. It is based on Ford’s Kinetic design 2.0 language and the theme is identical to other new generation cars from Ford. A robust passenger cage made from high strength steel is a part of it. The Ford Figo 2017 also offers driver-side airbag as standard, across all variants. Ford has given a lot of emphasis on passenger safety. In fact, the Ford Figo 2017 is the only car to offer upto six airbags in its top line variant. Thus it distinguishes itself from others cars in its segment.

The new Ford Figo 2017 stands out as one of the best looking hatchbacks in the country, clearly. The large dominating trapezoidal front grille, instantly reminds you of Aston Martin. It has chrome highlights and elongated headlamps look good adding some premium feel to it. Diagonally from the front it also resembles Fiat Punto Evo, as the headlamps are strikingly similar. The side looks well balanced with a slightly tapered windowline. The Ford Figo 2017 has a slightly tall stance due to the high window line. It comes with 14-inch alloy wheels, which do look small in comparison to the car. ORVMs have turn indicators on them. Build Quality, Boot space, Smooth and noise free engine, Good Air conditioning, Low maintenance cost, exterior looks and Interior space can comfortably fit 5 people. Ideal for City usage with occasional long drives.

What Can Improve

Mileage can be improved. engine power is adequate for low frill rides only. Ford Sales persons are not efficient enough to promote & sale this car. Lack of after market accessories fitment.

Ford has superior build quality compared to Swift. It has adequate space in interiors & boot. Diesel engine of Figo is far more powerful and efficient than Swift. People should opt for Figo. But due to inefficient Ford Sales staff sales are not improving.

Nothing much to boast about this car. It lacks power to pull if the AC is running. Rain water starts going inside from backside which gets collected under the spare tyre. This is the status for a car that is used sparingly just for 12,600 kms and the alum.pipe carrying oil to power steering starts leaking. So you can imagine what will happen to other parts of the car,if the car is used on daily basis.

What Can Improve

Not a good car and its not possible by Ford to improve this car.

Силовой агрегат

От Фиесты к Фьюжен перешли некоторые двигателя. Например, это 1.4/1.6-литровый 16-клапанный силовой агрегат Duratec, который генерирует 80/100 лошадиные силы соответственно. Они имеет также алюминиевый картер. Мотор получился достаточно экономичным. Судя по заявленному расходу Форд Фьюжн, он на уровне 7 л на каждые 100 километров.

Для нашей страны предусмотрели модификации с бензиновым «движком», а вот в европейских странах есть дизельные варианты. Моторы были «подогнаны» под экологические нормы Euro-4, что ограничило открытие дросселя, понизив содержание CO2 в выхлопных газах. Не стоит ожидать от машины гоночных характеристик, однако со своими «городскими» задачами автомобиль справляется достаточно уверенно. В городском режиме расход топлива Форд Фьюжн составляет 10.4 л с «автоматом», а с МКПП – около 9.

Трансмиссия

Вместе с мотором трудится 5-ступенчатая механическая и автоматическая коробка передач. Однако стоит отметить, что роботизированная трансмиссия идет лишь в модификации с 1.4-литровым двигателем. Судя по отзывам владельцев Форд Фьюжн, работа коробок на хорошем уровне.

Они обладают плавным ходом, возможностью переключения без сцепления, а также авторежимом работы. Максимальная скорость с автоматической коробкой составляет 176, а с механической – 180 километров в час. Разгон с нуля до первой сотни занимает 13.1 секунды на «автомате» и 10.9 сек на механической коробке. Весь крутящий момент транслируется только на передние колеса.

Ходовая часть

Подвеска получилась максимально простой. Передняя часть оснащена McPherson, а сзади стоит полузависимая балка. Некоторые владельцы Ford Fusion жалуются на ее излишнюю жесткость, однако она отличается надежностью. Управляется машина легко с помощью встроенного гидравлического усилителя руля. Тормозная система имеет задние барабанные и передние дисковые тормозные механизмы.

Безопасность

Во время создания Ford Fusion для семейных людей, конструкторский отдел Форд решил уделить немало внимания теме безопасности. Судя по результатам исследований, из максимальных 5 баллов Фьюжн заполучил 4. Стоит отметить, что машина лишилась бала из-за проблем с безопасностью пешеходов, а к водителю и пассажирам нет никаких вопросов. Хэтчбек имеет передние подушки безопасности, а также дополнительное укрепление кузова.

Интерьер

Если говорить за внутреннюю часть, то она почти не отличается от «пятого» Форд Фиеста. По идее понять разработчиков можно, так как нет смысла изменять довольной комфортную разработку на более дорогую, из-за чего автомобиль будет недоступнее по причине дополнительных подстаканников или карманов. Но все равно салон Ford Fusion выглядит приятно, особенно в трехцветном сочетании.

Сразу можно заметить высокое водительское сиденье, которое часто встречается в машинах большого размера. Базовая комплектация не получила бортовой компьютер, однако на электронное табло выводится оставшийся запас топлива и время. Трехспицевое рулевое колесо можно отрегулировать по высоте. Компактно, пусть и немного старомодно, выглядит «приборка».

Она имеет 2 больших круглых датчика тахометра и спидометра. Между ними разместился небольшой экранчик маршрутного компьютера. Немного выше есть еще 2 небольших круглых датчика уровня топлива и температурного режима силового агрегата. Посадка высокая, что улучшать качество обзора.

Внутри Форд Фьюжн обладает удобными отсеками для сохранности различной мелочевки. Они установлены под водительским креслом и на центральной консоли. Если убрать с помощью одного движения руки подушку пассажирского кресла, можно заметить вместительное отделение, предусмотренное в самом начале для сменной обуви, так как например, женщины, не всегда ходят по улице и водят машину в одной и той же обуви.

Центральная консоль в самом верху имеет 2 круглых дефлектора вентиляционной системы. Чуть ниже идет блок «музыки» и радио. В самом низу есть 3 регулятора климатической установки. На втором ряду сидеть втроем можно, но комфортно это не будет, невзирая на то, что в ногах свободного места предостаточно. Спинку сидений специалисты компании Ford расположили не очень удобно, из-за чего во время длительных поездок быстро устает спина.

Багажное отделение хэтчбека Форд Фьюжн получило 337 л. Но при необходимости его можно увеличить, если убрать задние спинки, что предоставит уже 1 175 литров полезного пространства. Однако добиться ровного пола не получится, так как сложенные кресла образуют приличный «уступ» на полу багажного отсека. Подпольная ниша может похвастаться полноразмерным запасным колесом.

Concept behind Ford Figo:

The name «Figo» is a colloquial Italian word meaning «cool»

The Ford Figo is a subcompact hatchback manufactured by Ford India, based on the Mark V European Ford Fiesta hatchback. The Ford Figo was unveiled in Delhi in September 2009. It is based on the same small car platform used for the Ford Fiesta and resembles the mark 5 Fiesta but with revised front and rear treatments.

It is smaller than the Fiesta Classic which Ford also sells in India.
