Но в этот раз, учитывая то обстоятельство, что с предыдущего теста прошел почти год, и в нашей команде появились новые люди, не лишним будет освежить в памяти основные моменты и, может быть, посмотреть на них свежим взглядом.

Дизайн S6 ничуть не изменился, да и не мог он этого сделать, поскольку ни рестайлингу, ни каким-нибудь другим трансформациям автомобиль не подвергался. Неподготовленным взглядом его, как и прежде, легко спутать в дорожном потоке с Lexus RX, но эту тему еще не обсудил разве что ленивый. Куда интересней поговорить о салоне кроссовера — он того стоит. Не слишком дорогие, но вполне приемлемые по качеству материалы отделки, аккуратно состыкованные пластиковые панели, кожа, удобные карманы в дверях, и много полезного пространства как по ширине, так и по высоте. На заднем диване вполне комфортно могут разместиться три взрослых человека. Среднему пассажиру особенно понравится то, что пол под его ногами ровный, без жутко неудобного центрального тоннеля. Сам диван, при этом, наделен возможностью продольной регулировки, а его спинку можно настроить по наклону.

Хороших слов заслуживают и передние кресла. Мощной боковой поддержкой они не отличаются, но в поворотах держат неплохо, а большой диапазон настройке, вкупе с регулировкой руля по высоте и вылету, дают возможность быстро найти оптимальную посадку вне зависимости от роста водителя.

В багажнике BYD S6 можно разместить приличное количество чемоданов или другой поклажи. Если 3-секционную спинку заднего дивана сложить и сам диван отодвинуть вперед, места станет еще больше, но и это не все его достоинства. Фальшпол состоит из нескольких плотных секций, которые легко снимаются для доступа к большому боксу с инструментами. Не поскупились китайцы и на подсветку, и на розетку 12V, и на веревочку, дернув за которую, можно открыть лючок бензобака прямо из багажника.

Словом, все те преимущества интерьера, которые мы отмечали во время первого тест-драйва BYD S6, таковыми и остались. Равно как остались и недостатки, главный из которых — светло-бежевый салон, маркий и малопрактичный.

Драйв

Ну вот мы и добрались до самой сути теста — связки 2,4-литрового бензинового двигателя с 4-ступенчатой автоматической коробкой передач. В отличие от 138 л. с. и 186 Нм 2-литрового агрегата, испытуемый выдает 162 «лошадки» и 220 Нм крутящего момента. Разница весьма ощутимая, невзирая даже на то, что снаряженная масса S6 с таким мотором и «автоматом» на 80 кг больше (1700 против 1620). Разгоняется автомобиль однозначно бодрее, чем задает поездке приятное настроение. Но это отнюдь не значит, что он превращается в нечто невероятно динамичное. Как и любая другая версия S6, тестовая отлично подходит для комфортной и размеренной езды по городу. Автоматическая КПП этому также способствует. Да, конструктивно она не первой свежести. Да, 4-ступенчатая. Да, реагирует на нажатие педали акселератора с небольшой задержкой. Но движение автомобиля при этом получается мягким, лишенным рывков и прочих не слишком приятных моментов.

Разница в динамике между S6 с 2-литровым и 2,4-литровым мотором ощущается не только за счет формально большей мощности и крутящего момента, но и за счет того, что пик тяги приходится не на 4000-4500 об/мин, а на 3500-4000, хотя «автомат» далеко не всегда позволяет графической стрелке тахометра подниматься так высоко. А когда позволяет, это становится отличным тестом на качество шумоизоляции подкапотного пространства. Надо сказать, что на холостых оборотах мотора почти не слышно. Он начинает напоминать о себе лишь на подходе к 3000 об/мин, но этот звук отнюдь не раздражает.

Как ни прискорбно, но за дополнительную мощность, резвость и комфорт расплачиваться приходится расходом топлива. Если S6 с двумя литрами и «механикой» потребляет в городе 11-12 литров бензина, то версия с 2,4-литровым двигателем и автоматической КПП «съедает» 14 литров на 100 км. И что любопытно, заправлять автомобиль теоретически можно 92-м бензином, хотя мы бы советовали не экспериментировать и ориентироваться сразу на 95-й.

Поскольку ходовая часть тестового BYD S6 абсолютно идентична той, что мы тестировали раньше, ничего нового о ней мы не расскажем. Кроссовер ведет себя вполне предсказуемо, неплохо рулится, давая базовый минимум обратной связи с колесами, и прогнозируемо для своих габаритов кренится в поворотах. Впрочем, эти крены не намного сильнее, чем у одноклассников S6 и частично связаны с мягкостью и умеренной длинноходностью подвески, «пробить», которую, кстати, не так уж просто.

Несомненным достоинством кроссовера являются и 190 мм дорожного просвета. Они дают возможность не опасаться бровок, но, в то же время, практически лишены смысла не бездорожье. BYD S6 – автомобиль сугубо переднеприводный, а потому попытка пробраться на нем через труднопроходимые места чревата известными проблемами. С другой стороны, в городе полный привод нужен далеко не всегда, да и расход топлива он явно не уменьшит, поэтому решение BYD ограничиться моноприводом в данной ситуации выглядит вполне логично.

Тогда импортер списал это на спешку с сертификацией и пообещал все исправить. И слово свое сдержал. Русского интерфейса, правда, по-прежнему нет и пока не предвидится, а вот английский уже есть, и, надо сказать, найти с мультимедийкой общий язык оказалось довольно просто. Во всяком случае, есть ради чего тратить на это время, поскольку система весьма и весьма функциональна. Например, она умеет читать DVD-диски, работает как телевизор, позволяет подключать мобильный телефон через Bluetooth, выводит изображение с боковой и задней видеокамер, дает возможность управлять раздельным климат-контролем, интенсивностью обдува и т. д.
