Новый porsche 911 2022-2023 (992 кузов)

Safety & Driver Assistance Tech: 8/15

Neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has published crash test results for the Porsche 911, which dings it slightly in our evaluation. Unfortunately, this isn’t all that unusual for many high-end luxury and sports cars.

Since the 911’s primary purpose is performance, safety features and driver assists aren’t as prevalent as typical vehicles. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking is included with the base Carrera, as is lane-keep assist. Adding the $4,000-plus optional Premium package gets you adaptive headlights, a 360-degree camera system and blind spot warning. Adaptive cruise control can be had for another $2,000. Other standalone options include a frontal night vision camera and an integrated dashcam.

The lack of crash test results from domestic or foreign organizations hurt the 911’s overall safety score, as does the absence of some standard safety features. That’s not to say this is a cause for concern, though, as it’s built to very high standards and rivals are at a similar disadvantage. However, the BMW 8 Series does have a handful of added standard or optional features.

Despite being a small sports coupe, the Porsche 911 has plenty of comfort and refinement for long-distance motoring. Porsche

Comfort & Room: 12/15

The Porsche 911 can easily accommodate taller passengers in front, and the slightly snug fit is appropriate for such a small sports car. Larger drivers would do well to stick with the standard seats since the available sport seats and their more aggressive side bolstering can be confining. These seats don’t offer as many adjustments as some other premium sport coupes, but they’re so well shaped that you likely won’t need more.

The rear seats are comically small, even for children. It’s best to think of those seats as a shelf for cargo overflow rather than for passengers. Then again, the Audi R8 and Chevrolet Corvette don’t even have rear seats, and the BMW 8 Series is similarly limiting in size.

Of the many 911 models we’ve driven, all benefit from premium leather seat upholstery that looks and feel appropriate for a $100,000-plus sports car. Heated front seats are standard on the base Carrera and ventilation is available.

Fuel Economy: 13/15

The fuel economy leader in the 911 lineup is the base Carrera with the manual transmission, earning an EPA estimated 21-mpg combined, 18 city and 25 highway driving. The rest of the Carrera line drops slightly to 20 mpg regardless of transmission or all-wheel drive. Carrera GTS models with the PDK transmission are estimated to return 19 mpg combined. The Turbo models and the Sport Classic are rated at 17 mpg combined, while the GT3 variants bring up the rear with a 16 mpg estimate.

These figures compare well against the 911’s rivals. The bigger and heavier BMW 8 Series is estimated to return between 24 and 19 mpg depending on the engine, while the top-performing M8 is rated at 17 mpg combined. The mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette should achieve 19 mpg combined, and the forthcoming Corvette Z06 drops to 14 mpg. There’s also the V10-powered Audi R8 that is estimated between 17 and 15 mpg combined. But worrying about fuel economy in this class of cars is a bit like wearing $5,000 shoes and complaining about the cost of the shine.

Turbo Cabriolet

Specifications[]

The 992 uses rack-and-pinion steering and has a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. The 992 has wide rear-wheel arches which will be a part of every model in the 992 lineage (a change only found on high performance variants of the 911 previously) along with 20″ wheels on the front and 21″ wheels at the rear.

Compared to its predecessor, the 992 is 45 mm (1.8 in) wider and now uses aluminium body panels. The 992 also has a new rear bumper with larger exhaust tips than its predecessor. The front of the car is designed to mimic the appearance of an early 911 in a modern fashion. 992 models have electrical pop-out door handles, a retractable rear spoiler (for specific models only) and LED headlights. All models also feature a full-length rear light bar. The interior also has received significant changes including a straighter dashboard which harks back to the shape of the dash board used on the classic 911. The instrument cluster consists of two 7-inch digital displays and an analogue tachometer. Also a reference to the classic 911 models.

The engines have piezo injection, a revised intake system, and—in some markets under Euro-6 regulations—have engine particulate filters. At launch the only available transmission was an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, although now a 7-speed and 6-speed manual are available. The manual 7-speed will only be offered on the GTS and the 6-speed on the GT3 models initially, both of which will have the Sport Chrono Package as standard equipment with the manual transmission.

Now, I want to talk about the 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S. Will it is better than its successor? If you are curious, please read this article to the end.

2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S Models

2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exterior Design

The exterior of the 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S should look cool and elegant, combining classic and modern elements. The sides of the Turbo S should look athletic and muscular, paired with modern sports car doors. The rear is designed very attractively, with a cool taillight design, and also some other decorations that make it even better. Maybe that’s all for the exterior.

2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S Interior Design

The interior of the car is expected to be filled with luxury and high-quality materials in every part. The passenger seat has a sporty design, with high-quality materials, and is comfortable. The cockpit is filled with control functions to operate the car properly and correctly, including several infotainment features. Interior features to provide comfort and entertainment must also be present, such as speakers, radio, air conditioning, and others.

2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S Interior Changes

2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S Engine and Performance

This car is expected to have high performance, we even hope higher than its predecessor. However, the performance as of the current year is already quite good. With a 3.8L 6-cylinder engine, it is enough to provide high performance. Because it can produce horsepower of 640 hp @ 6,750 rpm, and 590 lb-ft of torque @ 2,500 rpm. In addition, the top speed is expected to exceed 330 km/h.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Although sports cars usually tend to focus on performance, expecting better infotainment and connectivity is also a good thing. It is expected to have a 10-inch infotainment screen with touchscreen features and can be connected to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Next up is Porsche Communication Management (PCM) to operates several things, including a USB port, radio, Solt SD card, and others.

Features & Technology

The features of the 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S must be sophisticated and up-to-date. Some features that must be present, for example, are Exterior mirror lower trims in exterior colour, Retractable door handles, Particle/pollen filter with active carbon filter, Green-tinted thermally insulated glass, Windscreen with grey top-tint, Heated rear screenFloor mats (set of four ), Luggage compartment at the front, Ascending centre console with storage compartment, and others.

2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S Pricing and Release Date

Edmunds.com says that the 2022 Porsche 911 Turbo S will cost $207,000. For a 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S, it looks like it’s going up a few thousand dollars. Our speculation, the price of the car is in the range of $ 209,000 – $ 212,000. Regarding the release date, we speculate the car will release in Q2 or Q3 of 2023.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 Worth it? Which 911 is the Best Value?

With a dozen models in the lineup, the Porsche 911’s price varies wildly. The base 911 Carrera starts at $107,550 (including $1,450 destination) and clubs dramatically until you reach the Turbo and Dakar models that crest above $200,000. Outside of power output and performance upgrades, most 911s are similarly equipped and have comparable options.

We’re confident that the base 911 Carrera will more than satisfy the vast majority of drivers. As much as we love the new Carrera T, it’s likely too rough and fiery for most shoppers. If all-out performance is your goal, upgrading to more expensive models could make sense. If you’re spending most of your time driving on public roads, however, you’re likely paying for bragging rights since that level of performance should be exclusive to a racetrack.

Performance: 15/15

The Porsche 911 is available in a dozen different model choices that are generally distinguished by engines and performance. The base Carrera models get a 379-horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter flat six-cylinder engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (PDK in Porsche-speak) that drives the rear wheels. The new Carrera T is available with a seven-speed manual transmission. Models with a “4” denote all-wheel drive.

The Carrera S increases output to 443 hp while GTS and the new Dakar models jump to 473 hp. A turbocharged 3.8-liter version of the flat-six powers the 543-hp 911 Sport Classic and the all-wheel-drive 572-hp Turbo (with a capital T) and 640-hp Turbo S. The track-focused GT3 and GT3 RS are powered by a naturally aspirated (non-turbo) 4.0-liter six. The GT3 produces 502 hp and the RS gets a slight output bump to 518 hp. Acceleration to 60 mph ranges from 4.0 seconds for the base Carreras to under 3.0 seconds for the Turbo models.

For the vast majority of drivers, the base 911 Carrera will deliver all of the performance they desire. There’s more than enough power to thrill, and handling is precise and predictably trustworthy. Despite the high levels of athleticism, the 911 remains pleasantly comfortable for either the daily commute or long road trips.

For the rare driver seeking more engagement, the new Carrera T is more exciting and is much more affordable than the GT3 variants. The manual transmission is as good as they get, and the reduced sound insulation gives you a more racecar-like experience. However, unless you’re planning on regularly unleashing your 911 on a racetrack, it’s difficult to justify stepping up to the higher-performing models. Besides the rather exorbitant price increases, some models will sacrifice comfort for performance and won’t add much more excitement on public roads if you’re driving sensibly.

Style & Design: 9/10

The Porsche 911 is a bit of an oddity in the automotive world. For almost 60 years, it has stuck to its unusual rear-engine layout and basic design theme. Although it’s gotten bigger over the years, the 911 remains one of the most recognizable cars ever produced, regardless of which generation you’re looking at. Its compact proportions, tapering tail, and athletic stance make the 911 both aspirational and familiar. Then again, any coupe in this class should turn heads, and they do.

Its sturdy construction and use of quality materials easily meet expectations for a premium sport coupe, and there’s a dizzying array of customization options for prospective buyers to pore over. Even though the 911 is presented as a “driver’s car,” there are few sacrifices in regard to interior refinement and comfort.

The 911 Targa body style splits the difference between the security of a coupe and open-air enjoyment of a convertible. Porsche

Infotainment: 12/15

The base 911 Carrera comes well equipped with a 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen, a navigation system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The touchscreen is placed in the center of the dashboard and is more distracting to use than displays that are mounted atop the dash. The on-screen buttons are also on the small side and can be challenging to operate, especially while the car is in motion. For these reasons, we prefer the larger buttons and familiar layout of either CarPlay or Android Auto.

Fortunately, there are physical switches and knobs for audio and climate controls and a few for often-used performance features and drive modes. That means you won’t have to dig through infotainment menus for most basic tasks, though the 911’s menu structure is intuitive and logical. The small digital displays in the instrument panel take some getting used to at first but once acclimated, they’re helpful for secondary or redundant information related to performance and navigation.

The base audio system is unimpressive, so we recommend upgrading to the 12-speaker Bose system. Audiophiles would do well to go a step further and spring for the $5,560 Burmester surround sound upgrade.

The 911 Dakar debuts as a limited edition for 2023 with an unusual amount of off-road prowess. Note the roof-rack, essential for a vehicle with a tiny frunk as the only dedicated cargo area. Porsche

Equipment[]

Standard equipment includes a 10.9-inch display with Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and navigation system, a 8-speed PDK transmission and driver assistance systems including collision detection with braking intervention. A Wet Mode feature is also introduced on the 992 which uses acoustic sensors on the wheel wells to detect wet pavement and adjusts the stability control, the rear wing position, and gearbox responsiveness to keep the car stable. Optional equipment includes adaptive cruise control, night vision and sports suspension which lowers the car by 10 mm (0.4 in). A Sport Chrono package is also available on all models and features an overboost function that provides increased performance for 20 seconds. 0–100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration times are decreased by 0.2 second with the Sport Chrono package.

Sport coupes aren’t generally known for their practicality, but the Porsche 911 tends to accentuate this drawback. Its rear engine layout eliminates the possibility of a rear trunk, leaving only a tiny 4.6 cubic-foot cargo space under the hood. You might be able to squeeze a carry-on rolling suitcase in there, or perhaps a few grocery bags, but that’s it. More likely than not, you’ll be using the rear seats for cargo. If you opt for a model without the rear seats, you’ll get a large cargo net, but the space itself isn’t any more useful or convenient.

By comparison, the Corvette can hold up to 12.6 cubic-feet, and the BMW 8 Series measures 10 cubic-feet. Even the Audi R8 has a greater capacity of 8 cubes. Space for personal items is similarly limiting. There’s a multipurpose cupholder, a shallow armrest bin, and small door pockets. This is common for sport coupes in this class, though the BMW M8 has larger and more practical solutions.
